John McGlenn,
PE, SE
John McGlenn is a native of
Montana but a long time resident of Washington. Since serving
as a line officer in the U.S. Navy he has been in the
engineering consulting business as a structural engineer and
manager of multidiscipline projects focusing on wastewater
clean-up and fisheries enhancement. He has managed numerous
projects using alternative contracting methods such as
design/build and GC/CM and is a licensed engineer in all the
northwest states. Passions for and knowledge of
natural systems gained during early years along the streams and
lakes of Montana and Minnesota have lead him to be heavily
involved in outdoor recreation and conservation. He has served
on many committees and boards of NGOs including Izaak Walton
League, Washington Environmental Council, Western Rivers
Conservancy, Intermountain West Joint Venture and Wild Salmon
Center. He is a founding
board member and past president of The Washington Wildlife &
Recreation Coalition and the current president of the Washington
Wildlife Federation. John served two six year terms on the
Washington Fish & Wildlife Commission (receiving the NWF
Conservationist of the Year award during that time) and was
instrumental in the development of the Wild Salmonid Policy. He
and wife Ronni have raised their family of three in Bellevue, WA.
